"I don't care how comfy you say it is, I ain't sittin' on it. Besides, somebun has weed and pooed on it."
Oh dearest Tate, I put the blanket in your favourite spot, just for you so you'd be snuggly and warm for your afternoon nap! Besides, Tate, that somebun was you.
I'm waiting to see if we can see Tate & Lyle on the snow - not sure they will show up :)
ReplyDeleteLyle is still not (quite) brave enough to go downstairs of his own choosing and if I turn up in their room dressed for the garden right now (coat, hat, ...) he assumes it's vet time and scarpers. Tate went out yesterday and, when he couldn't find the bird feed I'd put out, ate the frozen grass and then some plants that had clearly been executed by frost. And then he was very unwell for the evening, I had to give him extra medicine to convince him to eat something and then get up in the middle of the night to check he was still alive. So we might not be seeing him out in the snow again if I can possibly prevent it...
DeleteSorry to hear about Tate - seems he was not sure how to react to snow. I hope he is feeling better today and Lyle sounds like a clever bun staying indoors. One of my bunnies Crazy Daisy ate a slug once but she was fine. Hopefully Tate will be fine to.
ReplyDeleteYes, we really do hope Tate is fine. Please pardon me. I know that we are supposed to maintain a certain level of civility on websites, but what kind of bunny eats a slug!?!
ReplyDeleteTate got better again, he has kept well as long as I keep him away from frozen grass and dead plants!
DeleteThank you for the home you give to these wonderful bunns.
DeleteTo Auntie Jane - If you had ever met Crazy Daisy you would probably understand why. She was eating a leaf and just as it was about to disappear I notice a very small slug on it. By the time I got to her it had gone! Hope that answers the mystery for you.
ReplyDeleteJB, thank you for these details. They are very reassuring. Thank you for watching out for CD.
